Richard J. Nugent (age 82), beloved husband of Alice Foote, happily married for 21 years; loving father of Susan (George) Nowak, Laura (Ralph) Menotti, Richard Nugent Jr, Jenifer (Joe) Canzoneri, John (Beth Lynch) and Brian (Jean) Nugent; much loved step-father of Michael and Jesse Foote; cherished grandfather of 17. Besides being a teacher for many years, Richard loved literature and books, even setting up the library at Am Yisrael. Synagogue service Tuesday 10:00AM at Am Yisrael, 4 Happ Road, Northfield. Interment will follow at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Am Yisrael or the Southern Poverty Law Center.
